Thermal Imaging

With the ever increasing cost of energy, it is important to be able to address the real cause of energy loss in buldings, as opposed to trying to remedy the symptoms. In this regard, Thermal Imaging is the most effective means of doing this, as it is cost effective and can identify the areas of air leakage and bad insulation without having to undertake lengthy smoke & pressure testing. It allows for a detailed survey to be undertaken on a building with minimum disruption whilst at the same time providing excellent results.

We use thermal imaging as an optional element to all our Energy Audits & BER Certification, but also, we provide a stand alone thermal imaging reporting service. All of our engineers are fully qualified in the use of the cameras, and also are fully qualified engineers, and as such are very capable in determining where building elements are missing, and what performance should be achieved by building elements. The advantage of this, is that the report we provide addresses all the issues but can also give real advice on the best means of fixing any issues, and who to employ to undertake these. We can also advise on what is required in order to comply with all statutory obligations in terms of building regulations.

Electrical Maintenance

Twinned with the effectiveness of Thermal Imaging, we also provide Electrical Maintenance Contracts on commercial buildings. This provides a standard annual maintenance contract on the likes of Distribution Boards etc, where the use of thermal imaging is very effective in preventing any major failures and can save a lot of money in the long run. We provide a package where by we undertake a quaterly review on site, with thermal imaging and other inspections, and based on this we replace or repair any items that are not working efficiently and effectively. We also provide a standard call out service for emergencies, and regular maintenance checks on high usage plant etc.

We work in tandem with Fahy Fitzpatrick's M&E department to make sure that all the regulatory and statutory obligations are met, so that our clients can be sure that they are fully compliant.
